The Museum and Conference Centre are 1½ miles west of A38 midway between Bristol and Gloucester: 3½ miles from the M5 and 8 miles from the M4. Heathrow is 1 ½ hours drive away. It is central to Cheltenham, Gloucester, Cirencester, Tetbury, Bath, Bristol, Chepstow and Monmouth, the Severn Bridge being just 10 miles away.

Tuesday to Saturday: 12.30pm - 5.30pm
*New Sunday & Bank Holiday Monday opening time for 2009 season*
Sunday: 12.00pm - 5.30pm

Open 7 days a week throughout June, July and August 2009

October:
Sundays only, 1.00pm - 5.30pm.

A visit will normally last between one and two hours.

The museum has wheelchair ramps but please note that only the exhibitions on the ground floor are accessible to wheelchair users.
Although the museum has a toilet for disabled visitors this does not provide for all special needs.

Groups
For groups visiting the Museum, Teas & Buffet meals can be provided in the Conference Centre by prior arrangement. Please ask for sample menus and prices.
The Conference Centre is licensed for the sale of alcohol with food.

Mini-buses can park in the museum car park. Coaches can drop-off outside the Berkeley Arms or, by prior arrangement, can park in the coach park of Berkeley Castle.
