The Museum and Conference Centre are 1½ miles west of A38 midway between Bristol and Gloucester: 3½ miles from the M5 and 8 miles from the M4. Heathrow is 1 ½ hours drive away. It is central to Cheltenham, Gloucester, Circenster, Tetbury, Bath, Bristol, Chepstow and Monmouth, the Severn Bridge being just 10 miles away. Opening Times 1 April until 30 September:       Tuesday to Saturday: 12.30pm - 5.30pm       Sunday: 1.00pm - 5.30pm STOP PRESS Open 7 days a week throughout July and August 2008! October:       Sundays only, 1.00pm - 5.30pm. [Closed Mondays, but open Bank Holiday Mondays, 12.30pm - 5.30pm] A visit will normally last between one and two hours. The museum has wheelchair ramps but please note that only the exhibitions on the ground floor are accessible to wheelchair users. Although the museum has a toilet for disabled visitors this does not provide for all special needs. For groups visiting the Museum, Teas & Buffet meals can be provided in the Conference Centre by prior arrangement. Please ask for sample menus and prices.
